Nestled amidst a picturesque landscape, Wijngaard Saalhof greeted us with a warm welcome drink and excellent customer service. The restored barn, housing the information center and tasting room from the 1920s, added a touch of history to our stay. Exploring the organic vineyard and enjoying a glass of wine on the terrace was a serene experience, perfect for unwinding. The gourmet restaurant offered a delightful culinary experience, although we opted for packed lunches to venture into the charming surroundings. Our room, with modern amenities like free WiFi and a flat-screen TV, was a comfortable haven.As an art and design enthusiast, the attention to detail in the tile/marble floors and stylish decor in the chalet was truly impressive. Breakfast, with options like bike hire, heightened our experience, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the beauty of the organic vineyard. The proximity to Schiphol Airport made our travels seamless, promising convenience for future visits.Together with my companion, I found Wijngaard Saalhof to be a perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and Dutch charm. The scenic views from the terrace, overlooking the estate, left a lasting impression, beckoning us to return and indulge in the peaceful ambiance once more. In essence, Wijngaard Saalhof offers a harmonious retreat for art lovers and discerning travelers seeking a unique countryside escape.
